Guests say

Guests have found the cottage in Milford Haven to be a delightful and cosy retreat, with many praising its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and well-equipped kitchen. Its location is appreciated for being quiet yet convenient for exploring Pembrokeshire's attractions. Some guests mentioned thoughtful touches like Christmas decorations and a welcoming gift, adding to the charm of their stay.

The majority of guests have reported the cottage to be very clean, with only one review mentioning mould and unclean kitchenware. The positive remarks far outweigh the negative, indicating high standards of cleanliness overall.

The cottage is well-regarded for its central location, ideal for visiting Pembrokeshire's sites. While some guests found the access path uneven, the proximity to local amenities and attractions has been consistently praised.

Comfort is highlighted with mentions of comfy beds and furnishings. However, a few guests noted issues with cold temperatures at night and some furniture being past its best, slightly lowering the comfort score.

Facilities are generally well-received, especially the well-equipped kitchen and smart TV. Some guests suggested improvements in bathroom fixtures and kitchen utensils, indicating room for enhancement in maintenance.

While there are mentions of thoughtful gestures such as Christmas decorations and a welcome gift, as these are not guaranteed for every guest and not all reviews reference them, it is not possible to provide a fair score in this category.

It felt cosy and very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

It is clean and comfortable, the neighbours are pleasant but not intrusive and it is within easy reach of the coast (excellent coastal walking!), castles and towns such as Tenby, Pembroke and Narberth. There is plenty of interest to keep one active for a week.

The listing is accurate however we found the sofa low and uncomfortable, the shower needing a larger screen and the hand basin in bathroom was too small. Unfortunately we did not find the kitchen very well equipped. A slotted spoon, balloon whisk, sieve for rice/spaghetti, eggcups and washing up brush would all be beneficial. There were only 2 of us but would find it inconvenient moving the dining table away from corner of lounge for every meal if there were 4 to accommodate. We did love the Portmeirion tableware, huge fluffy bath towels and peacefulness of the location which was perfect for accessing all of Pembrokeshire. We realise that windows need to be left cracked open (which we adhered to) but a warm cottage would've been welcomed as we arrived on a cold, wet, windy day.
