This third floor executive maisonette apartment offers the perfect base to explore Pembrokeshire. This light and airy apartment has been lovingly furnished throughout, the open plan well equipped kitchen offers the perfect social space to enjoy with family and friends or to cook that special meal and is complete with a breakfast bar area. On an evening enjoy relaxing on the sofa with a glass of wine overlooking the marina, each bedroom has been finished with a great sleep in mind with comfort and high quality linens throughout. The third mezzanine bedroom enjoys marina views from the moment you wake. The historic town of Pembroke is a 10 minute drive away and made famous for its medieval castle and the birth of King Henry the VII, it’s well worth the visit to step back in time and take in the glorious views around the mill pond and take in the town.
Travelling further south you can reach the National Trust run Stackpole Estate where you take a stroll through Bosherston Lilly ponds and out to Broadhaven South Beach, be sure to visit Barufundle Bay one of the Europe’s most stunning beaches too. Locally there are a selection of family attractions all within a short drive, including Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park, Heatherton World of Activities and Manor House Wildlife Park.

The apartment was clean, tidy and well equipped. Unfortunately I was disappointed with a few things hence my star rating being where it is.The balcony is not really functional, the boards are broken and generally not maintained. Not a place you could sit out on. The upstairs window is rusted through and when open or closed large flakes of rust fall off. Then there was a boiler issue, this decided to stop working on the second day we were there and we went 4 days with no hot water. This was reported to the landlord and he did try to get it fixed asap but cold showers are not my idea of fun. I’m glad I didn’t pay full price for this apartment.

Nice apartment spoilt by very poor beds, a dirty oven and poor preparation by cleaning staff.The apartment had clearly not been used for a while before we arrived. The sink traps had dried out so there was a distinct smell of drains. Had the place been checked out before we arrived? Definitely not. In all previous apartments we have had, there was a welcome pack. This does not have to be extravagant, but it does set the tone somewhat. The hot water system was turned off which we discovered after some detective work. Instructions on restarting the boiler were complicated. For anyone without technical knowledge, it would have required a call-out. Now the beds were something else! The twins beds in one of the main rooms have cheap, low quality mattresses. They were very uncomfortable. The mattress on double bed in the other main room is old, soggy and broken; sore shoulders and poor quality sleep the result.We did contact the owners the same day we arrived and raised some important points. Their response was luke warm and ignored the main issues. Caveat emptor!Milford Haven itself is not up to much. Once off the waterfront, there is not a lot there. However, if you are willing to travel a bit, there are some real gems to be found.
