Guests have consistently praised the lodge for its modern decor, high-spec furnishings, and beautiful location. The property is described as clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, offering a home-from-home experience with lovely views and peaceful surroundings. The proximity to scenic walks and beaches adds to its charm, and the caretaker Steve receives commendations for his helpfulness. While most feedback is positive, a few guests noted issues with cleanliness and mattress comfort.
The majority of reviews highlight the lodge's cleanliness, describing it as immaculate and well-maintained. However, one review mentioned an unpleasant smell and unclean bedding, which slightly lowers the overall score.
The location is highly praised for its picturesque setting, quietness, and well-maintained park. Its proximity to beaches and coastal paths, as well as the ease of access to nearby towns, is frequently mentioned as a positive aspect.
Guests find the lodge comfortable, with a bright and airy atmosphere, and comfortable beds, except for one mention of a less comfortable mattress in the twin room. The outdoor seating and sunny lounge are appreciated for relaxation.
The lodge is commended for its high standard of equipment and thoughtful touches. While the facilities generally meet guests' needs, there is a suggestion for a smart TV upgrade and a single complaint about a mattress and kitchen cleanliness.
Several reviews express gratitude for the welcome pack, indicating a level of thoughtfulness. It should be noted that while such gestures are appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every stay.
A charming holiday lodge resting in Heritage Park in Stepaside near Kilgetty, 44 Heritage Park enjoys open views to the front, and is an ideal base for friends and family to relax in South Wales. This lodge boasts a wonderful, well-equipped kitchen with a central island and breakfast bar, ideal for grabbing a quick coffee in the morning to put a spring in your step for the day ahead. The whole group can enjoy meals around the dining table or perhaps, spread the map out and all gather around to see where to tick off during your break away. The sitting area is a wonderful space for catching up with your group or for gathering together in front of the cosy, modern, electric fire to watch a film before heading to bed in one of the two delightful bedrooms. The main bathroom completes the accommodation and means there is plenty of space for everyone to get ready in the morning. The sitting area also has two sets of French doors out onto the decked veranda, the perfect spot for seeing out the last few rays of sunshine in the evening with a refreshing drink and enjoying the open aspect views over the site.
