Clam Cottage has been attractively decorated throughout with an open-plan living area, gallery-style bedroom with exposed beams and beautifully restored stone walls. Outside, guests can enjoy their own private, lawned garden with a patio area, perfect for unwinding after a busy day’s adventure. From the edge of the doorstep, visitors can stroll into the charming village which features a collection of tasteful pubs and restaurants, gift shops (which are fully open throughout the summer months) and a sandy beach which enjoys spectacular views along the coast. Just a stone’s throw away are the picturesque harbour towns of Saundersfoot and Tenby, offering irresistible seafood restaurants, golden beaches and thrilling leisure attractions, including Oakwood Theme Park and Manor House Wildlife Park. Take a boat ride and explore the off-shore islands of Caldey and share the serenity and tranquillity of the Cistercian monks, or take a sea safari along the dramatic coast, cruising close to sea birds, seals and the occasional bottlenose dolphin. Clam CottageUpon arrival we were greeted by owner Malcolm who welcomed us and said we are only next door if you need anything please come and see us he gave us some information on the local amenities nearby a few recommendations and walks for us and our two dogs he wished us a good holiday. Upon entering Clam cottage it was obvious that it was beautifully designed was immaculately clean and smelled so fresh. There was a thoughtful welcome pack and everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. The Fully enclosed and dog safe garden is well planted and beautiful with different seating areas and a well stocked bird table which is visible from the bedroom. A lovely start to the day to have a cuppa and sit up in bed watching the different birds feeding. We would highly recommend Clam Cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing break with their furry friend/s with Colby gardens and the coastal path to Saundersfoot. And Tenby a short drive away. The beaches are clean and vast. It is possible tides permitting to walk from Amroth to Tenby along the beach.
