Guests say

Glan Y Mor is praised for its stunning sea views and prime location in Amroth, with many guests enjoying the proximity to the beach and local amenities. The property is described as comfortable and well-equipped, providing a pleasant base for exploring Pembrokeshire. While some guests mention issues with cleanliness and maintenance, the majority reflect on a positive experience, often highlighting the desire to return.

Reviews on cleanliness are mixed, with several guests finding the property spotless, while others report issues with damp, mould, and unclean kitchen items. The positive experiences suggest good standards, but the negative comments indicate room for improvement.

The location is highly praised for its beautiful sea views and proximity to the beach and local amenities. Guests appreciate the convenience for sightseeing and the relaxing atmosphere, making it a standout feature of the property.

Guests find the property comfortable, with special mentions of the sea views from the bay windows and the quality of sleep. Some suggest improvements in bedding and seating, but overall, the comfort level is well-regarded.

The property is generally seen as well-equipped, with a modern kitchen and bathroom. However, there are comments about the lack of certain kitchen utensils, issues with damp, and difficulties with Netflix connectivity. While the facilities meet most needs, there is scope for enhancement.

There is insufficient information to assess thoughtfulness as it relates to gifts or special touches provided by the hosts. While a welcome pack and wine are mentioned, it is not consistent across reviews to determine a pattern of thoughtfulness.

However, not to this property. The smell of damp that hit us as we opened the door was quite discomforting. There is a big problem. By constantly having the windows open, along with the heating on,as it was quite a chilly week, we managed to tolerate it. The twin bunk room was the worst and we just couldn’t get rid of the overriding smell of damp. My eldest grandchild slept on the sofa as she wasn’t comfortable to sleep in there. The bathroom is also badly affected. There are damp patches and paint flaking off in numerous places throughout the flat. Such a shame, as it could be a lovely flat. Amazing views and well equipped.

Fantastic week the aparment is quite dated the furniture could do with a revamp, shower not very powerful and could do with new shower tray very concerned about the mold in some places in the bathroom as i have copd new cushions needed there were quite a few cobwebs especially by the lamp in the lounge area everything else was fantastic view to die for decking was nice to sit out lovely neighbours in apartments above shame there was no welcome pack after a 3 half hour drive it would have been nice i think once updated this apartment would 100% better thank you for loaning us the apartment

A great base for visiting the surrounding Pembrokeshire attractions. Great food at the pubs and cafes, and lovely sitting out on the decking watching the tide come in. The apartment was lovely and spacious with the beautiful views available when you open the living room and bedroom windows fully to see, smell and hear the sounds of the sea. A few downsides, there is a damp problem in the bathroom and the shower hadn't been cleaned as well as we had hoped. When we contacted the owners they arranged the cleaners to come round and sort it. There was a strong smell of damp when we arrived, but this improved over the week with us opening windows (the air fresheners need refilling!). One bath towel per person and no hand towels provided. No extra bin bags left just the main one in the kitchen. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed Amroth, and the apartment was a great place to stay, we will definitely return
