Gather your loved ones at the dining table to enjoy your evening meals before unwinding on the sofa and tuning into the TV. As the evening draws to a close, look forward to retiring to one of the well-presented bedrooms, comprising a ground-floor single bedroom and a relaxed mezzanine-style double bedroom, where the Velux roof window floods the room with natural light. During the summer months, spend a moment or two within the private garden area where you can enjoy a spot of alfresco dining or make the most of the site’s on-site facilities which include a tennis court and a children’s play area. If you can tear yourself away from this wonderful base, head to the village of Amroth where you will find all the amenities including a selection of pubs, cafés and shops and access to southern part of the award-winning Pembrokeshire Coast Path for those seeking an adventure. During the summer months you can look forward to soaking up the sun at the nearby beaches of Saundersfoot and Tenby, or head inland to find a number of attractions including castles, a zoo, museums and steam railways. Heulwen Lodge is a superb base for exploring this delightful location.

Amroth is a coastal village in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and is the southern start of the award-winning Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The village has a selection of pubs serving good food, cafes and shops close to the beach which offers safe swimming. The beautiful sandy beach stretches the whole length of the village and you can see the petrified forest, destroyed when sea levels rose 7000 years ago. From this wonderful seaside location you can discover all Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire have to offer and with such an array of attractions you will be spoilt for choice. Enjoy the scenic Welsh coast with wonderful unspoilt beaches, vibrant seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot, boat trips to Caldey Island or the bird islands and wonderful water sports. Go inland to enjoy historic castles, museums, steam railways, zoos and theme parks. A perfect location for all year round holidays.

    It is very peaceful and relaxing. The lodge itself was great for us, clean and equipped for our needs with a modern kitchen and 2 bedrooms. It is a very close location to Tenby but the local beach at Amroth was fantastic too. We will definitely stay here again

    Lots of equipment for outdoor use too. Comfy beds and everything seemed new.
