In the bay window relax and enjoy the magnificent views, particularly of spectacular sunsets on a tranquil summer’s night. Beyond the sitting room, the quiet reading room lies, perfect for escaping to with a good book. From the sitting room, wander across the light and airy landing with large window feature to two further beautifully presented and inviting en-suite double bedrooms, with exceptional bathrooms, sumptuous beds and luxurious bed linen, perfect for the most restful night’s sleep. Retreat to the balcony of the master bedroom, with a good bottle of wine or book and relax in peace and tranquility, looking out to the alluring sea or the rugged rural view to Carningli.

Lovely welcome by the owners who have thought of all they can do to make our holiday perfect, Even had canoes for our use. The view was wonderful from the lounge, the perfect place to sit and read on a wet day. A nice detail was the welcome tray with all we needed to make a cuppa on arrival.

Fabulous place to stay with an amazing view from the upstairs lounge. Adrian was really helpful showing us where everything was and helped us park the car as it’s a bit tight getting in. Very clean property and extremely well equipped with a nice welcome pack. We did a few walks but spent most of the time people and boat watching. Then in the afternoon when the tide was low we waded across the estuary to the beach. Our favourite places to eat were Blas at Fronlas for lunch and the Golden Lion for dinner. Definitely a lovely place to relax and unwind.

We had a fabulous stay at Parrog Point. The house was lovely, very comfortable and well equipped, with a beautiful view out to sea from the upstairs sitting room. The availability of three kayaks was an added bonus and we used them on most days when the tide was in. Reversing into the parking places at the side of the house was a bit challenging and we generally chose to leave the cars in the free car park opposite. There were plenty of places to eat a short walk away in Newport, we had fish and chips from the cafe next door and drinks at the boat club, which allows non-members to use the upstairs bar. There is also some excellent walking in the area. A lovely place for a holiday!
