Sitting snuggly at the foot of the Carningli Mountain in Newport Pembrokeshire, this cosy stone terraced cottage is just a few minutes’ walk to the town centre as well as Newport Sands and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The entrance is into the tiled-floored lounge with a multi-fuel stove and stone walls. Off the lounge is the light and airy, fully equipped kitchen, dining area and separate family bathroom. Stairs lead to the first floor with a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. There is also a WC and washbasin on this floor. The holiday cottage has a large enclosed lawn garden that has an alfresco dining area with a swing seat and wooden benches.
The garden area is accessed by several uneven stone steps with a handrail, that should be used with care. Newport will provide you with the most stunning views of its bay and beyond, there is also a great selection of pubs, cafes, restaurants and individual shops. If you are truly lucky and the weather is great you may catch a glimpse of Snowdon.
Newport is a beautiful coastal town in Pembrokeshire, south west Wales lying on the River Nevern with a selection of shops, pubs, tea rooms, plus an excellent golf course overlooking the sea as well as a lovely sheltered harbour. Newport lies on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path which is renowned worldwide for its unique landscape and wonderful opportunities to go dolphin and seal spotting. Wonderful coastal walks along the path or in the nearby Preseli Hills with the ever changing scenery are a walkers dream all year round. Learn about history when you visit the mills, craft centres and castles dotted around the county or spend a day at the wonderful Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort where you can learn hands on all about living during that time. See the majestic Shire Horses at the Shire Horse Farm or spend relaxing days on the huge choice of beautiful sandy beaches. All year round this is a perfect location for all the family.
