Sea View is a well-loved cottage in Newport, praised for its stunning views, spacious garden, and homely feel. Guests have enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and the property's suitability for dogs. The sunroom and garden are particular highlights, offering beautiful sunset views and a secure area for pets.
Cleanliness has been a mixed point for guests. While some found the property to be the cleanest they've seen, others reported issues with dirt and maintenance. The variance in experiences suggests that cleanliness is generally good, with some lapses that have affected the overall impression.
The location of Sea View is highly praised, with guests loving the charming area, the proximity to wildlife, and the stunning views of Dinas Head. The enclosed garden is ideal for dogs, and the property's setting provides a peaceful and scenic holiday experience.
Comfort is a strong point for Sea View, with many guests finding the cottage cosy, well-furnished, and with comfortable beds. The presence of multiple living spaces and a well-maintained garden adds to the overall comfort. However, some minor issues with heating in certain rooms have been noted.
Facilities at Sea View are generally well-received, especially the well-equipped kitchen and garden amenities. However, there have been several mentions of maintenance issues, such as problems with lighting, appliances, and cleanliness of outdoor furniture, which suggests room for improvement in this area.
While some guests mentioned a generous hamper and the provision of useful items, there is not enough consistent information across reviews to accurately assess the level of thoughtfulness in terms of gifts. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

The property was perfect for two families. Simply stunning.

The cleanliness of the place was lacking. It gave the appearance of needing a good clean. Cob webs everywhere. Kitchen cupboards, work surfaces and appliances needed wiping as it was very grimey. The extractor fan didn't work. The dishwasher smelt awful so we didn't use it. It's a shame as otherwise it was a beautiful setting.

The whole cottage was outfitted to a very high standard (though itâs not really a âcottageâ). With older children we appreciated having different living spaces and we loved the conservatory. Even on overcast and drizzly days we felt connected to the outside and the wood burner made the evenings cosy. Whilst our dog was vastly entertained watching the rabbits on the lawn every morning and evening. We hadnât been to Newport before but loved the restaurants, beaches, and lovely shops. It had everything you could want for a holiday.
