Ty Owen is a well-received cottage praised for its high-quality facilities, cleanliness, and thoughtful touches like a welcome pack. Its location in Newport is appreciated for proximity to amenities and beaches, though some noted the hill's challenge. Comfort is highlighted with cosy furnishings, though bed size and shower safety were concerns for some. The property's modernity and maintenance are commended, with minor suggestions for improvement.
Guests consistently note the property's immaculate condition, with particular praise for its spotlessness. The high standard of cleanliness contributes significantly to the positive experience of the stay.
The location is generally seen as convenient and peaceful, close to shops, pubs, and beaches. However, some guests mentioned the challenge of the steep hill and narrow streets, which could be a consideration for those with mobility issues.
The property is described as comfortable, with high-quality bedding and furniture. However, there are remarks about the beds being small and the toilet low, which suggests that while comfort is high, it may not meet everyone's needs.
Facilities are generally praised, especially the well-equipped kitchen and secure garden. Some guests suggested improvements such as larger beds, better internet reliability, and highlighted a safety concern with a step. The incorrect wifi code in the brochure was also mentioned.
The welcome pack and high-quality appliances are frequently mentioned, indicating a high level of thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Well equipped cottage - high quality finishes and fixtures. Excellent location and off street parking is a real asset in Newport, Pembs. It would be great if one of the rooms was a twin room and this would enable the cottage to attract more families. Aside from this everything was perfect.

We stayed 2 years ago and couldnât wait to get back. Everything is catered for, the owners clearly have great taste and appreciate quality. The location is perfect for us.
