Originally an 18th-century stable and cow shed, the cottage has been thoughtfully updated while retaining the warmth and charm that make a countryside escape feel truly special.
Inside, the traditional kitchen/diner forms a welcoming heart to the home, with a large antique oak dining table providing plenty of space for leisurely breakfasts and relaxed evening meals. A range cooker makes catering for the family easy, while the AGA, in use from October to April, brings an extra touch of country-house cosiness during the cooler months. After days spent exploring the coast, retreat to the comfortable separate living room and settle in for a relaxing evening together.
Three inviting bedrooms accommodate up to six guests, with two king-size rooms and a twin making the cottage ideal for families or friends sharing. The main bathroom features a bath with shower over, while an additional ground-floor shower provides useful extra facilities. Outside, the enclosed south-facing garden and patio offer a peaceful spot for morning coffee, alfresco meals and long summer evenings, while private parking adds to the ease of your stay.
The location, however, is something truly special. Bosherston is one of Pembrokeshire’s most desirable coastal villages, surrounded by the outstanding scenery of the National Trust’s Stackpole Estate and Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. From the village, wander through the famous Bosherston Lily Ponds, following the beautiful waterside trail towards the golden sands and dramatic cliffs of Broad Haven South.
Days here can be as relaxed or adventurous as you choose. Join the Pembrokeshire Coast Path for unforgettable walks, discover the secluded beauty of Barafundle Bay or explore Stackpole Quay and its rugged coastline. St Govan’s Chapel, dramatically tucked into the cliffs, is another local highlight, while nearby beaches provide wonderful opportunities for swimming, surfing and sea fishing.
