Great house for large get together/parties. We stayed here for a week to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday and we had a fantastic time. There are 12 bedrooms, 5 with en-suites and many can be adapted from doubles to twins. The kitchen was very well equipped for what we needed and having 2 dishwashers and 2 large fridge freezers was a real bonus! Unfortunately one of the ovens was broken, but there were 3 others so that didn’t affect us too much. The games room was perfect for the kids to hang out in with Pool table, table tennis and a tv. There was also a cosy sofa and tv area off it which was well used! We loved having group meals on the very long dining table, and chilling by the fire in the other lounge area. Locally there is plenty to do. We wandered round the castle which is opposite the property and visited the local shops. Many of the large supermarkets are located in the Pembroke dock area which is a 10 min drive away. We also went go karting, coasteering, pottery painting, mountain biking and lots of beach walks all within a 30-40 min drive away. The only draw back was not having any private or enclosed outdoor area. We had a couple of dogs with us so we had to get them on leads and walk them regularly for toiletting. Having an enclosed area would have made this easier. We had some plumbing issues in the house, but the owners were very responsive and issues were sorted promptly. If you are considering booking this place I would 100% recommend it. Thank you Ellie and team for having us!

This venue was superb. We hired it for an 80th birthday family celebration and it was ideal. We weren’t blessed with perfect weather, but the property is so well equipped with games, jigsaw puzzles and TVs that it really didn’t matter.A lot of steps/stairs so could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. The kitchen had everything we could possibly have wanted and more!We hope to return!
