This lovely lodge is located in Freshwater East, just a stone's throw from the Green Coast Award beach, within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The Pink House offers charming, family-friendly accommodation for a family or group of up to six wanting to explore Pembrokeshire's glorious coastline and enjoy a seaside break. Step inside the property to find a cosy sitting/dining room, with laminate flooring and white painted walls, making this a bright and airy space, with a dining table set for six guests, where you can come together to enjoy home-cooked meals, before relaxing on a choice of seating, with a sofa and several armchairs to choose from, as well as a TV to keep you entertained. The well-equipped, neutrally styled kitchen has all of the appliances you could wish for, including a fridge/freezer, an integrated fridge, an electric oven and hob, dishwasher and washing machine, plus the cupboard under the stairs houses a tumble dryer and highchair, for extra convenience. There is a ground-floor shower room, as well as a family bathroom upstairs, offering a choice of shower and bath to help you prepare for each day. Upstairs are three spacious and tastefully decorated bedrooms; a master bedroom with wonderful balcony offering views out to sea and a handy en-suite shower room, a further double bedroom and a twin, ideal for a variety of groups. Outside, there is a parking space for one car in front of the property, while the rear, enclosed decking area can be accessed through the kitchen and has outdoor seating, where you can enjoy a morning coffee or spot of lunch in the sunshine, as your four-legged friend stretches its legs safely, while at the front of the property is another decking area with seating, so the choice is yours. The award-winning, stunning sandy beach, backed by dunes, is a short walk away, with safe swimming, as well as being pet-friendly all-year-round, offering a fantastic day out that every family member can enjoy. The pretty cliff-side village also offers a café, pub and restaurant, while the closest shop is around two miles from the property. Walkers can access the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which stretches 186 miles from St Dogmaels to Amroth, encompassing 58 beaches and 14 harbours, while a coastal bus service runs the whole route, if you wish to enjoy the views from the comfort of public transport instead. The village of Lamphey is 2.5 miles away, with a small shop, a traditional pub and two restaurants, as well as Lamphey railway station on the Pembroke Dock branch, running services along the West Wales Line. Pembroke is four miles from the lodge, offering plenty of visitor attractions, including its stunning riverside castle, which was the birthplace of King Henry VIII, as well as Monkton Old Hall, Lower Common Park and Playground, The Mill Pond Park and Garden, plus row boat hire, so you can get out on the water and admire your stunning surroundings. Freshwater East offers an award-winning, sandy beach, backed by green craggy countryside and sheltered rocky sections. The village is situated to the south of Lamphey, on the south west of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Walk east along the coast path to remote Swanlake Bay and on to Manorbier, or take a journey west to Stackpole Quay, then carry on to Barafundle Beach. Lamphey is just 2 miles away and offers a small shop, a traditional pub and two restaurants, as well as Lamphey railway station. With its elevated position, overlooking the bay, this wonderful destination draws visitors from all over.
