Greenfields is a spacious and comfortable, detached bungalow in a quiet location just a short walking distance from the centre of St Davids, Britain's smallest cathedral city. There are views of the cathedral from the bedroom windows.
As well as its cathedral and the next door ruins of the Bishop’s Palace, St Davids boasts a great range of independent shops and galleries, as well as excellent cafes, pubs and restaurants, all within walking distance.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path can be easily gained at St Non’s, about a half a mile away (approx. 20min walk). A longer walk will take you to either Caerfai beach or Porthclais harbour. The beaches of Whitesands and Abereiddi are not to be missed and Solva, Newgale, Porthgain and Abercastle are also in easy reach.
Boat trips to Ramsey, or one of the other bird islands can be booked locally, along with informative excursions by boat taking in the spectacular coastline of this area.
The city of St Davids is situated on the far south west coast of Wales. Granted city status by Queen Elizabeth II, it is the smallest city in the UK, with its magnificent cathedral dating back to the 12th century and the ruins of the Bishop's Palace, both wonderful buildings to explore. Situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, St Davids is a delightful place with an array of unique shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs, surrounded by spectacular coastal scenery. Nearby Whitesands Bay is one of the many beautiful beaches in the area, and walkers will delight in the spectacular views from the coastal path which runs around the complete coastline of Pembrokeshire. Local buses will help with your walking plans, so that you can walk several stretches of the path with totally different landscapes and views each day. Dolphin spotting from land or from the many boat trips to local islands are a must, and are also perfect for enjoying the wonderful array of birds in their natural habitat. St Davids is the perfect holiday destination, whether you are looking for a quiet relaxing break, wonderful walking, a round of golf, an exploration of magnificent castles or fun-filled days at Oakwood Theme Park, farm parks and much more.

Very comfortable, spacious and well-equipped property. Short walk to the cathedral, shops, pubs and restaurants. Easy travelling distance to Haverfordwest for bigger choice of shops. Minor point is that the Property Guide needs updating e.g. some of the local shops listed are no longer in business at St Davids. On arrival, we could not help but notice a musty, damp smell which we put down to the property not being is use the previous week. However, this persisted and we eventually discovered it was as a result of the drain outside the back door being heavily silted. Consequently water was only able to drain away very slowly. We reported this to the owner who was grateful for us having identified the source of the problem, saying that she would look into it. We had a great week at this property, We would recommend it and we hope to return.

It was superficially clean but the wall tiles in kitchen were very grubby. Most of the windows had grime & mould in the gaps between the shutter inserts and window frames. Cobwebs on light fittings, extractor fan etc. Some dark stains on stair carpet. Also, some tatty or broken kitchen equipment - china teapot with no lid, burned saucepans, etc. Also, the area outside front door needs tidying up: uneven surfaces, cracked crumbling concrete with weeds growing through. Not very welcoming. It could be a lovely property but was let down by poor cleaning & maintenance.

Close to everything and very comfortable. Weather rather cold and windy, but good for walking and for 4 of the 6 days we got plenty of sunshine. May well be back again next time we want to come to Pembrokeshire.
