This large cottage close to Haverfordwest makes an excellent base for large families or groups of friends enjoying a special get-together. After days out walking, golfing, playing on the beach or exploring picture-perfect Welsh villages, return to its comfortable lounge, spacious bedrooms and enticing gardens.
This elegant house has plenty of space and connects easily to the garden. Watch a film on the Smart TV in the lounge, where there’s an array of sofas, or gather around the table in the separate dining room for a convivial meal or a board game. For snacks there’s a breakfast table in the kitchen, which is equipped with all mod cons to keep keen cooks happy. A bedroom with a double bed completes the ground floor. The remaining four bedrooms are on the first floor, the largest a king-size with handsome furnishings, a dressing area and an en-suite shower room. The family bedroom has a super-king-size bed, which can be made up as twin beds on request, a single bed and en-suite bathroom, and it leads through to a single bedroom. The final rooms on this level are a twin bedroom (super-king-size on request) and a family bathroom. As for outside space, there’s parking for up to five cars on the drive, and a secure garage (on request) for storing bikes and other outdoor gear. Children and pets can play in the safely enclosed back garden as you dine alfresco, and everyone can gather around the firepit on the long, built-in seat on the front patio.
The village of Wolfscastle boasts a pub (opposite the property) and a country hotel with a restaurant and spa. Head out on a choice of country walks and explore the ruins of the Norman motte-and-bailey castle. You can reach a choice of gorgeous beaches in less than 15 miles, including Newgale, 8 miles, with its long, golden sands.
