Ideally located for hikers and bikers, with scenic walks across the moor and picturesque cycle routes are literally on your doorstep and there are leafy woodlands to discover nearby. There is a pub, restaurant, and café in the nearest village, Llangadfan. The pretty village of Llanfair Caereinion, Welshpool, is where you’ll find village stores, pubs and a fish and chip shop and is only 10 miles away. Or the picture postcard market town of Welshpool, a perfect base for exploring the beautiful sights of mid Wales. Discover countryside canal walks, modern art, historic castles and heritage railways and microbreweries.

Great break for 3 adults in Dolwen Isaf, location was beautiful - on a working farm but that presented us with no problems at all, it was quiet. The property was clean, warm, beds were so comfortable! Kitchen was lovely (we would have maybe liked an ice box in fridge, but no big issue). The welcome hamper was a delight! Thank you!
