This lovely, large detached property offers guests a spacious an comfortable place to stay within the beautiful mid Wales countryside, set just 2 miles out of the town of Newtown which hosts an array of bars, shops and restaurants for guests to enjoy. This property is an ideal base for groups of friends and large family gatherings. Plenty of walks can be had from the property so this is a great place for taking your four legged friends too. There is plenty to see and do in the area and it is an ideal location for exploring the borderlands of England and Wales, which is an area of pretty countryside and charming market towns, and the coast is a short drive away.
After a long day exploring this stunning area, there is a private hot tub set in the garden which guests can relax in. The property is detached and enjoys lovely views over the surrounding farmland, and an adjoining orchard which guests are welcome to walk round and enjoy.

Lovely views and spacious house. Quiet location but close to Newtown. Great space for a group of people to enjoy. Games room and hot tub were enjoyed by all.

Old Upper Gwestydd is even better than in the photos. The kitchen is a great space to be sociable, the cosy living room with wood burner is a great place to chill out and the games and cinema room are brilliant. The hot tub is massive and a real pleasure to sit in, especially when the stars are out! The bedrooms are spacious and comfy too. The hosts are friendly and always on hand to help if you need anything. We loved our stay and can’t recommend it highly enough.
