Settle into a thoroughly enjoyable break at this beautiful barn conversion near the hamlet of Pencelli, 4 miles from the cathedral town of Brecon. Up to four guests are welcome to stay at the two bedroom cottage, which is set within the surroundings of an 18th century farmhouse. Watch the bright barges pass on the canal and even hire one yourselves. Walk along the towpath to Brecon, passing Brynich Aquaduct on your way. Spend time browsing in the town s independent shops, pick up some local produce and head home after a cup of tea and a Welsh cake. Keen cyclists can also follow a section of the 55 mile Taff Trail, which runs from Brecon to Cardiff Bay and passes close by.
