This lovely semi-detached barn conversion lies in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park with panoramic views of the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains which has exceptionally clear skies and is a great place for those wanting to stargaze. Set on the owner’s working farm, it offers a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a shower room on the ground floor. Upstairs is an open plan living space and a further two bedrooms - a twin and a super king with an en-suite shower room. There is also a games room with a pool table on the ground floor, which is accessed via another staircase within the property. There is a separate utility area to the rear with a washing machine and tumble dryer, which is shared with the property next door. A lovely enclosed lawned garden completes the picture, and is a great place for children to play in. For anyone wanting to keep in touch with the outside world, there is free Wi-Fi and 4G mobile reception.
There is plenty to do in the area, and a visit to the market town of Brecon with its array of shops, coffee shops, museums and art galleries, offers something for everyone. Don’t miss a visit is to the Regimental Museum of the Royal Welsh, which has lots of historic facts and artefacts. For those wanting to walk around the countryside, a walk up Pen Y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales, is a must, and the views from the top are outstanding. Very peaceful stay. Beautiful views. Characterful building. Everything as described. Was perfect location for walks and Brecon. Functional stay: Fantastic nature - birds, garden etc On a sunny day garden was lovely just to relax in. Friendly neighbours.

What a lovely weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the family working their farm- including the children and dogs! The owners were incredibly friendly. The cottage had everything we needed and the views were spectacular. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Woodland View. The property was as described and in a beautiful location. The property is located on a working farm and we were very lucky to see a lamb being born in the sheep shed, and the farmer took time to explain the workings of a sheep farm to us. Incredible views of the Brecon Beacons too. The hosts were great and really friendly. The pool room went down a great hit and we really enjoyed it! Thank you for a great stay, it was really comfortable and cosy.
