This lovely semi-detached barn conversion lies in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park with panoramic views of the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains which has exceptionally clear skies and is a great place for those wanting to stargaze. Set on the owner’s working farm, it offers a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a shower room on the ground floor. Upstairs is an open plan living space and a further two bedrooms - a twin and a super king with an en-suite shower room. There is also a games room with a pool table on the ground floor, which is accessed via another staircase within the property. There is a separate utility area to the rear with a washing machine and tumble dryer, which is shared with the property next door. A lovely enclosed lawned garden completes the picture, and is a great place for children to play in. For anyone wanting to keep in touch with the outside world, there is free Wi-Fi and 4G mobile reception.
There is plenty to do in the area, and a visit to the market town of Brecon with its array of shops, coffee shops, museums and art galleries, offers something for everyone. Don’t miss a visit is to the Regimental Museum of the Royal Welsh, which has lots of historic facts and artefacts. For those wanting to walk around the countryside, a walk up Pen Y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales, is a must, and the views from the top are outstanding. Whatever you decide to do, this property is a great base whether you’re walking, cycling or just having a relaxing family holiday. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

Fantastic stay at Woodland view The Cottage was very warm and welcoming. The Welsh cakes and milk on arrival was an added bonus and much needed after a long driveThe Cottage is set on a working farm where the owners have been there since the late 60s really nice people and great to chat to whilst we were there and the views from the Cottage are absolutely incredibleWe were a party of five we used the Cottage as a base to go mountain biking we did the TAF trail from the Cottage to Talybont and we also drove up to Elan Valley and cycled all round the damsWhat we loved about the Cottage was the warm feel it had all of the rooms were really comfortable and I had all the creature comforts that you would need Home from HomeThe Pool room was an absolute amazing bonus. It did get a little competitive on the Friday night, but such a good thing to have.Massive thank you to June and her husband for letting us stay in their Cottage and an even bigger thank you for taking in our Tesco delivery and packing it away whilst we were stuck in trafficHopefully will come and visit you again in the near futureMany thanks, Jamie Mike Tim Ken and Finley
