For adventure enthusiasts, the Brecon Beacons (7 miles) and the River Wye offer a range of outdoor activities, from canoeing and high rope courses to gorge walking. The nearby town of Hay on Wye (6 miles), famous for its International Book Festival, also features an arthouse cinema, The Globe at Hay, as well as a selection of second hand bookshops and independent stores. Upon arrival at the farm, you'll enjoy breathtaking valley views before entering the retreat through French doors into a welcoming lobby.
