Guests say

Buzzards Breg is a well-received cottage, praised for its beautiful location, cosy comfort, and high-standard barn conversion. Guests enjoy the stunning views, peaceful environment, and the warm welcome from the hosts. The property is dog-friendly and offers great walking opportunities, though some guests noted minor issues with facilities and maintenance.

Most guests found the cottage clean and cosy. However, one mention of cleaning issues upon arrival slightly impacts the score.

The location is highly praised for its beauty and tranquillity, ideal for walkers and those seeking a peaceful retreat. Its remoteness is seen as a positive aspect, though it may affect convenience for some.

The cottage is consistently described as warm, cosy, and comfortable, with a particularly comfortable bed noted. Underfloor heating and a well-equipped kitchen contribute to the comfort, despite some comments on heating efficiency.

Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped kitchen and utility area. However, points are deducted for issues such as the lack of a freezer, gaps in fencing, and unreliable WiFi and TV reception.

While guests appreciate the warm welcome and suggestions for walks, there is no consistent mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

Steve and Julie are lovely, welcoming hosts and we love the cottage in such a beautiful location. My parents come for the fantastic walking routes on the doorstep and I meet friends every year at the Cob sales. Inside the cottage is rustic and cosy but with all the mod cons you need, a well equipped kitchen and a lovely bathroom with an enormous bath with shower. The style follows through to the bedrooms again cosy and comfortable. Already planning to return next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Buzzards Breg. The cottage was lovely, surrounded by the scenic Welsh landscape, with beautiful walks nearby. My mum and my sister had such a joyful time meeting Juli’s horses and dogs– we’re truly grateful for that heartwarming experience. I would highly recommend them.
