Guests say

Bodaioch Hall is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its spaciousness, comfort, and range of facilities including hot tubs and a games room. The picturesque location and the property's suitability for large groups are consistently highlighted. The host, Sam, is commended for being helpful and accommodating.

Most guests found the property clean and comfortable upon arrival, contributing to a positive experience. However, a few mentioned minor cleanliness issues, suggesting room for improvement but not detracting significantly from the overall high standards.

The property's location is highly praised for its idyllic Welsh countryside setting, quietness, and stunning views, making it an excellent base for exploring and walking. The proximity to a friendly local pub and convenience store adds to its charm.

Guests were very pleased with the comfort of the property, mentioning the comfortable beds and spacious rooms. The only drawback noted was the discomfort of the sofa beds, which suggests that while the main beds are comfortable, alternative sleeping arrangements could be improved.

The range of facilities, including hot tubs, a games room, and a large kitchen, were well-received. Some guests encountered maintenance issues such as leaks and appliance usability, indicating that while facilities are generally excellent, there is some need for maintenance and clearer instructions.

While the reviews reflect a thoughtful and accommodating host, there are no specific mentions of gifts. Therefore, it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness in terms of gifts, and this score is set to null.

What a beautiful property situated in a lovely friendly town. Will certainly be back!

The beds are super comfortable, the hot tubs were a dream to be in while looking at the hills in the distance and listening to birds. The kitchen had everything we needed; the hob would be our only suggestion for improvement as pots and pans took ages to heat up and didn't seem to retain heat well, which is not ideal for cooking group meals. But the ovens worked well so not a huge problem! Another suggestion for improvement would be supplying dressing gowns for when using the hot tub or extra towels, but again, not a big problem. The house has 3 medium sized living spaces in addition to the big kitchen, two with TVs which were great for movie night. Lovely surroundings, well kept grounds and lots to do nearby, we went to a local cider farm tour & tasting, visited Aberystwyth and we would highly recommend a walk around Elan Valley. Would definitely recommend staying at Bodaioch Hall!

The property is stunning, has been renovated to a high standard and was clean throughout. Everyone loved the outside games room and hot tubs were used plenty. Having two is such a bonus! Personally my favourite part of the house was the gorgeous kitchen which provided a perfect setting for meal times. We got lucky with great weather and took full advantage. There are lovely walks around, and the village has a playground for the little ones and we also visited the lovely local pub. The only complaint I heard of during the weekend was the sofa beds not being the comfiest to sleep on, and the barbecue has seen better days, but in the grand scheme of things these were non-issues. Overall we had a fabulous time and would 100% return for a special occasion in the future. We loved every minute of our weekend and all wished we could have stayed for longer!
