There are two ground floor bedrooms, two first floor bedrooms and conveniently, a bathroom on the ground floor and a shower room on the first floor. This dog-friendly property boasts a rear boot room in what used to be the vestry, perfect for drying off after a long walk on the hills. There is also a small sun room to the side and a front cottage-style garden with a patio and furniture. Walking, hiking, biking, horse riding and exploring the surrounding hills and moorland can start from the doorstep and the pretty village of Painscastle is just four miles away, while Hay on Wye, 'the Town of Books', is just 10 miles away and easy to reach in the car. In a lovely setting, this unique holiday cottage is perfect for a relaxing break in this beautiful part of the country!

The pretty village of Painscastle lies between the famous towns of Hay-on-Wye and Builth Wells, and takes its name from its ancient castle, where today only large earthworks remain. Standing only three miles from the England/Wales border, the village boasts a charming real ale inn and is surrounded by scenic countryside. Under six miles away is Hay-on-Wye.
