With space for up to ten guests in three bedrooms, this stylish and comfortable barn is a great choice for a relaxing break in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. There are fabulous walking trails all around, while Pen Y Fan the highest mountain in South Wales, is a two or three hour trek away and it's less than a mile car ride takes you to Pont Ar Daf where the trail starts, a superlative hiking destination offering sweeping views of rugged scenery. Bike Park Wales just 4 miles away has the most diverse selection of all-weather mountain bike trails in the UK. Take a tour round the famous Penderyn Whisky distillery with Zip World Tower Colliery, 8 miles away.
Set within incredible mountain scenery, the whitewashed barn has been cleverly converted to retain wonderful original features including wooden floors, exposed wooden beams and stone walls while introducing modern style and amenities. From the front door, step into the galley-style kitchen, with its vaulted, timber ceiling and chic mix of cupboards and open shelving. It’s equipped with everything the chef of the holiday will need, including a microwave and a dishwasher. From here, head into the lounge/diner, where a long table with bench seating provides plenty of room for celebratory meals together. Comfortable sofas surround the wood burner, ready for cosy evenings around the glowing flames, and there’s also a Smart TV in case you need extra entertainment. Also on the ground floor is the first of the two twin bedrooms, which boasts a delightful en-suite shower room. There’s also a useful, separate WC. Climb the brightly painted stairs to the first floor, where you’ll find the second twin bedroom and a handsome third bedroom, which has six single beds. They share an elegant family bathroom with a bath and a separate shower.
A large lawned front garden ideal to play ball games with a patio area, BBQ and fire pit for guests to take in the Brecon Beacons dark sky reserve and countryside fresh air, or simply sit back with a drink and relish the incredible views. You’ll also have off-road parking for up to ten small cars.
