Abercyros Cottage is set in the village of Llangammarch Wells just 7 miles from the popular town of Builth Wells, famous for shows such as the Royal Welsh Show. Within Builth town itself there is a variety of bars, restaurants, shops and takeaways. There are plenty of things to see and do whether you are looking for a more active holiday or whether you are looking to relax. On the outskirts of the village there is the Lake Country House Hotel and Spa where guests can relax using the spa facilities overlooking the beautiful lake or enjoy an afternoon cream tea. If you are looking to be more active then this is the perfect base for all types of walks, from short strolls to long hikes. Closest is the Epynt Way which starts and finishes at property entrance. From the top of the Epynt Way you will be able to see for miles. The Brecon Beacons are just a 30-minute drive form the property, making this an excellent base for exploring Mid Wales.
When you have finished exploring for the day, this property boasts a large enclosed garden with private patio where guests can sit back and relax in the peaceful surroundings. Shop 500 yards, restaurant 3 miles.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thank you Roland and Abercerios cottage for our magical family Christmas break 2025.We found the cottage easily via google maps and we were very pleased with what we arrived to find. We are a family of 8 adults and the cottage is very spacious and better than we could have possibly imagined and spotlessly clean and tidy and was decorated for Christmas. The photos don’t do it justice! It’s beautifully decorated.The kitchen is huge with massive island and lots of cupboards and equipment. A Fridge freezer in the corner and another fridge in the island and with it being a Christmas break for 4 days with 8 of us we had ALOT of food and drinks so the extra fridge was great. It had a comfy sofa too which was lovely while we were all cooking etc. The utility room was so handy too. The table was a lovely size with more than enough space for 8. Both the living room and the snug were perfect with comfy sofas and both had gorgeous log burners. We had very cosy nights all together watching films. A large conservatory extended off the main living room with another large kitchen style table. Beautiful. All bedrooms are a lovely size and very pretty with comfy beds. Towels were provided which helped greatly with packing space. The games room with pool, air hockey and Wii games console with guitar hero was amazing and many hours of fun were had in there. The garden is a good size. Lots of outside seating areas ( would love to come back in summer to enjoy the garden even more ). We loved using the hot-tub! Large towels provided!A first for us all to be in a hot-tub outside on Christmas Day! Overall we can’t recommend this amazing cottage enough. We all had a wonderful Christmas and are planning to book again.
