No smoking.. Abercyros Cottage is set in the village of Llangammarch Wells just 7 miles from the popular town of Builth Wells, famous for shows such as the Royal Welsh Show. Within Builth town itself there is a variety of bars, restaurants, shops and takeaways. There are plenty of things to see and do whether you are looking for a more active holiday or whether you are looking to relax. On the outskirts of the village there is the Lake Country House Hotel and Spa where guests can relax using the spa facilities overlooking the beautiful lake or enjoy an afternoon cream tea. If you are looking to be more active then this is the perfect base for all types of walks, from short strolls to long hikes. Closest is the Epynt Way which starts and finishes at property entrance. From the top of the Epynt Way you will be able to see for miles. The Brecon Beacons are just a 30-minute drive form the property, making this an excellent base for exploring Mid Wales.
When you have finished exploring for the day, this property boasts a large enclosed garden with private patio where guests can sit back and relax in the peaceful surroundings. Shop 500 yards, restaurant 3 miles.

A lovely place, pretty much everything there that you’d need, bathrooms and bedrooms galore! So homely which is crazy as it’s such a big place. It has a lovely big table that we all sat around, and an aga which kept us toasty as it was a chilly weekend. Hot tub was fab, and a lovely plate of delicious Welsh cakes awaited us. Can’t comment on what’s to do as we stayed in all weekend, it was a perfect place for a perfect catch up.We would 100% recommend this place, and fingers crossed we’ll be back next year for sure! Roland was lovely and answered any questions we had!
