Follow the wooden stairs up to the first floor and you’ll find an inviting open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area that boasts a characterful vaulted ceiling and striking exposed beams. Take a moment to relax on the sofa and appreciate the room’s quaint period features, before heading to the farmhouse-style kitchen to whip up some dinner. Gather everyone together to eat at the rustic dining table, or head out into the picture-perfect garden to dine alfresco. After dinner, head back to the lounge area to stetch out in front of your favourite TV shows. At the end of the day, you’ll find two delightful king-size bedrooms on the ground floor to choose from. Alternatively, head to Tretower Court and Castle (7.5 miles) to see the 12th-century stone castle and its remarkably preserved 15th-century manor house.
