Garth Barns and Country House are set in the beautiful gentle rolling landscape of Mid Wales. Well placed for groups coming together from most parts of the UK, the Grade 2 listed House, and Barns, is designed specifically for your big happy gathering! The flexible living spaces work brilliantly for so many different parties. From a grand family reunion or big birthday, to a business off-site or yoga retreat.
Garth Lake is just 300 metres from the accommodation and has 2 canadian canoes and 2 little boats for guest to use. It can be a gorgeous sanctuary or a fun place for wild swimming etc. Exclusively for guests use.
Excellent walking from the doorstep. Maps are provided and guided walks can be arranged. Walk into nearby Llanidloes along the Glyndwr's Way National Trail, or to the source of the River Severn.
There are 18 bedrooms, 16 are ensuite.
All rooms sleep at least 2 and some sleep 5 comfortably.
Everyone can sit down to eat together. The main dining area is a large flexible space that can be arranged to seat from 10 - 48 guests. This is the space that can be cleared for yoga. There are further rooms for watching TV, sitting around tables, playing table tennis and pool. 3 kitchens too!
There are lots of places to sit together outside: 5 terraces to choose from, a covered deck as well as benches placed around the grounds and lake to take advantage of the views.
There are established gardens with lawns, stream and a pond. The campfire is in the orchard. Sticks are provided. Up to 2 pets can be accommodated - please check with owner.
