The Old House in Llanidloes receives high praise for its stunning views, peaceful and beautiful location, and welcoming hosts. Guests consistently mention the property's cleanliness, spaciousness, and the comfort it offers, making it a highly recommended retreat. The surrounding area offers plenty to explore, with guests enjoying the local wildlife and attractions.
Reviewers frequently commend the property for its exceptional cleanliness, describing it as immaculate and spotless. This consistent feedback suggests a very high standard of cleanliness maintained by the hosts.
The location is celebrated for its outstanding views, tranquillity, and proximity to nature and local attractions. Guests appreciate the peacefulness and the lack of light pollution for stargazing, although the remote access via narrow roads is noted.
Comfort is a highlight, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, especially with the log burner. The spaciousness and homely feel contribute to the overall comfort experienced by visitors.
The property is well-equipped, with guests mentioning the ample kitchenware and the wood burner as positive aspects. However, a suggestion for additional bathroom shelving and a comment on lumpy pillows indicate minor room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
Guests mention thoughtful touches like a welcome tray and New Year goodies, indicating the hosts' consideration. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it is politely noted that such gifts are personal touches and may not be a standard offering for all stays.

Glorious views from one aspect and livestock from the other. Walks from the front door and we didn't see any one else for the 11k on either. If we missed anything it would have been a pub, warm fire and lunch to finish the day off. But the 7 days flew by and we loved every minute of our stay.
Andrew
The cottage was clean and included everything we needed. The layout really worked for our group of five. The views from the rear of the property are stunning. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area. We had the best time and would love to stay again.
Stephen
The house was very clean and comfortable and had all the facilities we needed. The local area is great for walking and cycling.
