The design of the house unique and its setting with beautiful views of the landscape was incredible. Location with access to nearby places we love, Montgomery, Church Stretton, Lake Vyrwy, Bishops Castle, The Ridgeway and Offaâs Dyke etc is excellent. Lovely country walks around Hyssington up to the Church and castle are on the doorstep for dog walks. The decking area with breath taking views was stunning. Facilities marvellous thank you lovely hot water supply for bath and shower appreciated. Also appliances, dishwasher, oven, induction hob and washing machine top quality. Love the space driveway plenty of parking and turning. Slept well the first and every night as beds were good and so were pillows which is important. Only problems very minor was DVD player didnât work as only black and white with no sound but I would say why watch tv! The large patio sliding doors handles were a little heavy and stiff but we soon got used to the technique. The weather was very good we did not need to use the log impressive log burner or the underfloor heating. Would highly recommend The Danish House. Would like to book for next year.

It was perfect for our 2 families of 4: the ground floor bedroom is pretty small and the open tread stairs might be a bit alarming for smaller children but it worked well for us. The weather was unexpectedly good while we were there so it was great to have the deck to sit out and enjoy the wonderful view, although cushions for the garden chairs would have been nice. We also found the directions a little confusing as we approached from the opposite direction, but what3words helped! Overall we had a lovely stay and would love to return.
