A luxury countryside lodge, adjacent to the owner's property, close to the popular bustling town of Rhayader and on the edge of the picturesque and wildlife rich Cambrian Mountains. The lodge has two bedrooms, one with en-suite facilities as well as a family bathroom. The galley style kitchen opens into the comfortable sitting room, with dining area and fantastic views across the garden to the mountain beyond. The enclosed lawned garden has a patio with an enticing hot tub, perfect for relaxing under the stars and impressive dark skies that the area is renowned for. The small Welsh market town of Rhayader has a selection of tea rooms, pubs, restaurants, amenities and unique little boutiques. The town has the added bonus of a leisure centre with a large swimming pool and a weekly livestock market. The Red Kite Feeding Station, on the outskirts of the town is a great attraction and it's not to be missed.

The setting was beautiful and the lodge was well equipped and clean. There was an issue with flies, kind of expected with being on a farm, however it means you are completely unable to utilise the bifold doors or have any windows open in the nice weather. There was an issue with us receiving a noise complaint which was fine if that was the case, we were enjoying a birthday and it was before 9pm, but the way it was handled was extremely rude and when messages were sent to try and clarify the issue these were completely ignored. We also werenât the only people making noise as another place was outside making noise until gone 11pm. Being a family run business we expected it to be a bit more welcoming but there wasnât even so much as a hello when we were spoken to. This is a real shame as we would have come back with family it wasnât for this.

Surrounded by sheep and farm fields. Very quiet neighbours and very private. The hot tub was checked and topped up regularly throughout our holiday which was very much appreciated thank you. The hot tub was perfect for our holiday, even in the rain. It was situated in a lovely enclosed area with a grass area and table and chairs and a fire pit to cook a bbq on. With sheep peeping through the fence. â¤ï¸ Bathroom/showers all just perfect for us. Plenty of living room space with dishwasher and washing machine, full sized fridge and freezer, microwave ,ironing board and iron. Adequate crockery, utensils, cooking equipment. All double glazed windows and doors, beautiful blinds. The only thing I should have asked was how to put the outside lights on. We could see them on the wall but no clue as to how they worked. The internet/wifi all seemed to work perfectly for us. We expected it to be a bit poor considering where we were but we had no problems. The welcome pack and all the tea, coffee and sugar and milk came in very handy. The marshmallows and sticks were used on our last night. We made sâmores on the fire with the kindling and logs you left for us. You really had thought of everything. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. We will be back again next year. Paula and Neil
