Wildlife, wonderful scenery and trail walking abounds, and Lake Vyrnwy, with its rspb centre and watersports, is just 6 miles away. Welshpool, Powis Castle, King Arthur’s Labyrinth and the renowned Centre for Alternative Technology, with its unique water-powered railway, are all close by.. All male, all female or young mixed groups must be checked at time of booking. If accepted there will be a £50 security deposit per person payable on arrival - refunded within 7 days of departure providing no damage is caused. The park will not accept any party under the age of 25.

Group Bookings/Party Types
Single sex parties are permitted at the park’s discretion – please call to check at time of booking – and will be required to pay a security deposit on arrival of £50 per person. This is refundable upon departure.
Parties under 25 are not permitted.

Good except for flies lady gave us fly strips but not nice waking us up. Pub down the hill good with food nearest town but further. Nice location lovely views.

We booked a 4-night stay in June but left after just 2 nights due to unacceptable conditions. The lodge was severely infested with flies. While we understand the countryside has insects, this was an uncontrollable swarm that landed on our food and prevented us from sleeping. The owner's only solution was to provide fly tape, which did not fix the issue. Furthermore, the hot tub—our main reason for booking—was broken and unmaintained. The control panel buttons were falling off, the screen was completely faded, the jets did not work, and the water was freezing cold. When we checked out early, the owner refused to handle our partial refund and passed the responsibility. This was a miserable experience. Avoid this place.
