There is no view of the castle from the cottage there were trees in the way, The welcome pack was a pack of welsh cakes and a pint of milk in the fridge. there were no instructions for any of the appliances especially t. v or heating and water only the hot tub. I'm hearing impaired and use the subtitles on the television, the lettering on the remote was so worn it took a long time to find them. There were a lot of people and cars at Edderton Hall next door and some were parking outside our cottage even once in our allocated parking space, not much privacy. Every time they went to their cars the dogs were barking, we kept the curtains closed most of the time. picked up other dogs poo a couple of times in the dog walk .We couldn't find any walks from the cottage. The outdoor furniture was green with mould. In spite of all this we enjoyed our holiday and loved the places we visited.

Powis Castle View was comfortable, clean and well equipped. It was a great base for a weekend walking the Offa’s Dyke path. and there are plenty of other activities and places to visit in the area. We felt very welcome.
