After preparing breakfast or dinner, settle down around the dining table to soak up the surrounding views whilst tucking into your delicious meal. Alternatively, brush up on the local history by visiting the National Trust property of Powis castle, where you can explore the medieval property before enjoying the celebrated garden. Ochr Y Foel is a sublime property for exploring this part of Wales.

Llanfair Caereinion is a town which was built up of an old Roman fort, in the valley of the River Banwy, in Powys. Within the town you will find The Church of St Mary, Post Office, two supermarkets, and a selection of three different pubs. There is an annual Llanfair Caereinion Carnival which makes its way through the town with a full parade of floats and dancing troupes.
