Guests say

Coed Mawr is a well-received cottage, praised for its stunning, peaceful location and well-equipped amenities. Guests enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and scenic views, with many expressing a desire to return. The cottage's charm and modern touches contribute to a luxurious retreat ideal for nature lovers.

Most guests found the cottage very clean and well-maintained, though a few mentioned issues with cobwebs and a damp problem in the master bedroom. These seem to be isolated incidents rather than the norm.

The location is highly praised for its tranquility, stunning views, and proximity to nature and amenities. The drive through the forest and the cottage's setting in an opening are particularly appreciated.

Guests describe the cottage as cosy, comfortable, and suitable for relaxation, with ample space for groups. The presence of log burners and a hot tub adds to the overall comfort.

The cottage is well-equipped with a hot tub, BBQ, and kitchen amenities. Some guests noted minor maintenance issues like potholes near the gate and the need to manage the hot tub themselves, but these did not significantly detract from the experience.

While a welcome pack is mentioned, there are not enough details on the consistency of such gestures to accurately assess thoughtfulness. It should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed.

Coed Mawr is a jewel of a home! We loved our stay - the views, the hikes, and especially the sheep! The house was cozy and comfortable for our group of 4 and we had everything we needed. The descriptions of the road to the house are accurate - a high clearance vehicle and patience are a must but it is so worth it once you arrive!

Stunning location, beautifully finished accommodation, 2 roaring fires with enough wood for a year, topped off with a hot tub whilst star gazing. One of the best locations Ive stayed in. Will be back!

Absolute stunning cottage in a stunning location. As soon as we started the drive up through the forest we felt as if we were in a peaceful, remote location which is what we wanted. Although near enough to amenities when needed. We were not disappointed as we opened the last gate and saw the cottage in an opening with fantastic views. The cottage itself had plenty to do in comfort and we had plenty of use out of the hot tub, fire pit and log burners.Truly a relaxing peaceful experience for the six of us.Would definitely recommend and hopefully return.
