The Long House in Betws-y-Coed offers a rustic charm with modern comforts, set in a peaceful and beautiful location ideal for exploring Snowdonia. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy open fire, and the spaciousness of the property. While some guests encountered issues with heating and access, the responsive owner and the property's overall cosiness and cleanliness have led to many positive experiences and intentions to return.
The majority of guests found the property to be clean and well-maintained, with spotless bathrooms and a tidy kitchen. One review mentioned a minor issue with a shower, but this does not detract from the overall high standards of cleanliness.
The property is praised for its beautiful and peaceful location, ideal for outdoor activities and exploring the local area. However, one review mentioned challenging access due to a potholed track, which slightly impacts the score.
Guests generally found the property cosy and comfortable, with comfy beds and a warm open fireplace. Some concerns were raised about the effectiveness of the heating system, but the provision of blankets and quilts helped maintain comfort.
The property is well-equipped with kitchen utensils and a games room, contributing to a positive experience. However, there were some issues with heating, hot water, and maintenance concerns such as a hob that turns on by itself, which suggests room for improvement in this category.
Guests mentioned thoughtful touches like milk and biscuits on arrival, as well as helpful information for catering to a dog. While these gestures are appreciated, it is important to note that such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

Easy to find, peaceful with plenty of room for the 2 of us. Loved the comfortable lounge and the spacious bedrooms. Perhaps the owners could think about installing some hooks with hangers in the longer bedroom as there wasnât a wardrobe. Although plentiful with drawer space as many different seating options in both bedrooms. Handy to have 2 bathrooms. Plenty of car parking . The views were spectacular. Perfect base for the outdoor activities we booked (nearby Zip World and Go Below). Loved Betswy -Coed itself. Would highly recommend
