The castle and town walls are protected as part of a unesco World Heritage Site. Conwy has a good choice of places to eat and drink, with further variety six miles away in the resort town of Llandudno. Miles of nearby coastline include Conwy Morfa and Penmaenmawr beaches, and you're less than half an hour's drive from the south coast of Anglesey.

Places to visit during your stay include Llandudno Pier for traditional seaside vibes or the Ski and Snowboard Centre for something different. Adventure Parc Snowdonia where you can surf on an inland lagoon, and the Welsh Mountain Zoo. Walk to the top of Snowdon or take the easier route on the narrow-gauge Snowdon Mountain Railway. The way to any happy guest's heart is through their stomach. Keep everyone well-fed with a large open plan kitchen well-equipped for group self-catering. As well as plenty of plates, glasses, cutlery and serving dishes, there are two ovens, stoves, dishwashers and big fridges.

A dining space with two tables provides seating for up to 40 hungry dinner guests.

An elegant sitting room can either work as one big space for socialising or two smaller areas for sitting and watching TV or chatting. There are two wood-burning stoves for warmth in winter.

An indoor gym and heated swimming pool provide a fun way to work off any excess calories consumed during your stay. There is also a treatment room, and the owner can help arrange for a beautician or holistic therapist to deliver in-house treatments.

Kids of all ages will gravitate towards the games room to play pool or board games.

There will be no queuing for the shower! Each of the 13 bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom. There is an accessible wetroom shower on the ground floor and two showers in the pool house.

Bedrooms are spread over two floors and include six double rooms, two triple rooms (one double bed and one single bed), four family/quad rooms (one double bed and either two singles or bunk beds) and one sleeping five with a double bed, bunks and a single bed. Each family room has a sitting area, creating a lovely private suite.

Outside: You'll spend as much time outdoors as possible, making the most of the spectacular views and spacious gardens that include a play area, hot tub, barbecue and fire pit, and a woodland walk. There is off-street parking for 20 cars behind lockable gates.
