Ty Capel Vestry is a unique and spacious property that offers a peaceful setting in a scenic location, ideal for larger families or groups. Guests appreciate the proximity to local attractions and the flexibility of space within the cottage. The property's character and views are frequently praised.
The property generally appears clean, but several reviews mention issues with dust and cobwebs, particularly behind furniture and in less accessible areas. Some guests noted the need for a more thorough cleaning.
The location is highly praised for its beauty and tranquility, with easy access to nearby attractions such as beaches and historical sites. It is considered perfect for those seeking a quiet retreat.
The property is described as cosy with plenty of character. However, some guests found the beds creaky and uncomfortable, and the lighting insufficient for activities like reading or playing games.
The property offers ample space and multiple kitchens, but guests reported issues with maintenance such as problematic showers, electrical safety concerns, and insufficient crockery for the number of guests the property can accommodate.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the property owners towards the guests, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is unquestionably well-known around the world for its historical and architectural legacy, yet the centre of the town is a hive of busy activity. There are numerous specialised stores, eateries, and motels in addition to its traditional festivals and fairs, musical performances, galleries, and tourist attractions. Conwy Castle, which was constructed for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287, is still regarded as one of the finest examples of mediaeval military construction. The castle's unusual, elongated shape—complete with two barbicans, eight enormous towers, and a large bow-shaped hall—was likely influenced by the castle's location on a small rocky outcrop. The Gwledd Conwy Feast, the Honey Fair, the Seed Fair, and other yearly festivals, events, and fairs, as well as other musical occasions throughout the year, are just a few of the town's many annual celebrations of its historical traditions, which it is pleased to uphold. Conwy is the ideal starting point for exploring the stunning Snowdonia National Park, strolling along undeveloped sandy beaches, or taking in the breathtaking nature right outside your door. The Llechwedd Slate Caverns, which have the longest zip line in Europe, are also close by, while Surf Snowdonia is only six miles distant.

I could tell it was slept in before us in the main bedroom upstairs. It was like walking into a fridge. Some of the cups were dirty. We only stopped one night as we were all cold

The property is beautiful and cosy and has plenty of character. There were several things around the house in disrepair and the floor, beds and doors and all very creaky so recommend bringing earplugs for the group. If you're looking for something this pristine this is probably not the property for you, but there is plenty of space, a beautiful view, and comfortable sofas. The main drawback is the lighting in the main room. Once the sun has gone down this room is very dark even with all the lights on, we even tried bringing in lamps from the bedrooms but it didn't help and it felt like we were eating by candle light. It was impossible to read or play games in this room so we had to squeeze into the smaller lounge every evening.

Itâs a bit different. It is in a great location and we appreciated the quiet. The property gave options for our group, with some wanting to read, others to watch TV, so gave great flexibility for people to do what they wanted. We also found some nice walks.
