It’s easy to while away a morning wandering around Aberdovey’s independent shops and galleries, and perhaps popping in for a coffee or lunch somewhere inviting. For golfers, Aberdovey also hosts a championship golf course where you can enjoy a round. For a scenic day out, head to the stunning Dolgoch Falls or Craig yr Aderyn hill (both 9.5 miles), the latter a site of breeding choughs and other birds. Corris Slate Mines (15 miles) offer you a historic afternoon out.
