Guests say

Tremyfron is a well-received holiday cottage in Bala, praised for its cleanliness, prime location, and welcoming atmosphere. Guests appreciate the proximity to local amenities and the quiet, peaceful setting. The property is described as comfortable and spacious, with a friendly and attentive owner.

The majority of guests report the cottage as extremely clean, contributing to a welcoming stay. However, a few guests noted issues with cleanliness, particularly in the kitchen and bathroom, which slightly lowers the score.

The location is highly praised for being quiet yet conveniently close to the town centre and Bala Lake. It is considered ideal for exploring North Wales, contributing to a high score in this category.

Guests find the bungalow comfortable, with ample space and cozy furnishings. Some guests mentioned that the mattresses and conservatory furniture could be updated, which suggests room for improvement.

The property is well-equipped for most needs, but some guests noted a lack of modern kitchen equipment and the absence of Wi-Fi. The presence of a conservatory and ample parking are positives, but the need for upgrades in certain areas affects the score.

While the owner is commended for being attentive and responsive, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

Bala is a great base to get around and there's lots to do. The lake is beautiful and it's a lovely bustling town. Our host Rhian was very friendly and the house itself a good size and in a good location. With a few simple improvements and additions the house would be perfect :)

The weather wasn’t great but it certainly didn’t stop us getting out & about in & around wales beautiful scenery had a great week.

It was spacious and clean and the owner was very responsive when we had a difficulty. We were there to go mountaineering in the snow, but could see that it would be lovely in the summer too !
