Miles of sweeping sandy beaches and stunning walks are just a stone’s throw from the cottage. As well as a fantastic location with views towards the Llyn Peninsula, this detached cottage is also only 5 minutes’ drive to Barmouth town centre with shops and good pubs/eateries. From the living room, dining room and each bedroom, plus the terrace, you can watch the waves roll in and experience spectacular sunsets over the bay. With this west-facing holiday cottage, you could be soaking up the sun all day long then enjoying dining al fresco on the lovely terrace while watching the sunset over Cardigan Bay, with the mountains as a backdrop.

Set Snowdonia National Park, Minafon is ideally situated for whatever type of holiday you want. For those with families, miles of sweeping sandy beaches from Barmouth to Harlech are at the foot of the lane. If you’re into cycling or horse riding, there are numerous scenic places to ride. This is a walkers’ paradise with The Mawddach and Dyffryn Trail very close by, and Cader Idris just 20 minutes’ drive away! If you’re not the active type, then how about a ride on the Cambrian Coast Express all the way along this glorious coastline?
