Enter into this delightful abode and discover a characterful sitting room with the added bonus of a woodburning stove to warm your feet beside after a long day of exploring. When mealtimes call, the kitchen/diner caters to your culinary needs as you cook up a storm and indulge in a hearty meal, as the utility takes care of your muddy clothes. On the ground floor you will find the first of the bedrooms, a double, as well as a ground-floor bathroom. Threaded with wooden beams, three further bedrooms can be found on the first floor, including a king-size, double, and family room with double and single, serviced by a bathroom.. Beddgelert is a lovely starting point for your stay, offering everything you would need for a self-catered stay, including a variety of restaurants where you can savour delectable food and toast to any special occasion. There's also a local shop where you can pick up materials for a homemade supper. A few more attractions that benefit the village include Gelert's Grave, which tells an unusual story and has lovely walking pathways; you can also easily access the National Trust Nature Reserve, which leads to Dinas Emrys, a trekking area, and the amazing Sygun Copper Mine. Nestled inside the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, there are hiking trails and scenic areas wherever you look. If you're up for an adventurous stroll, Mount Snowdon is well worth a visit, offering incredible views from its peak. Travel to the royal town of Caernarfon via the Welsh Highland Steam Railway and spend the day enjoying golfing, the stunning Victoria Dock, and a fortress and castle that are listed as World Heritage Sites. Take a trip across the Menai Bridge to the Isle of Anglesey, where you will discover a wealth of historical sites, gorgeous beaches, and breathtaking landscapes, or just stay put and enjoy the magic of your cottage while taking in the splendour of the National Park.

The picturesque village of Beddgelert lies in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park at the foot of Mount Snowdon. Beddgelert is a bustling village with arts and craft shops, tea rooms, welcoming pubs, including Saracens Head and the Royal Goat, and restaurants, centred around the Afon Glaslyn river. A leisurely stroll along the river will take you to the Aberglaslyn Pass, one of North Wales’s most famous beauty spots. The Welsh Highland Steam Railway passes through the village on its journey from Porthmadog to Caernarfon. Beddgelert is famed for its monument to the Welsh Prince Llewelyn's dog, whom the Prince killed thinking it had attacked and killed his son, only to discover afterwards it had been defending his son from a savage wolf attack. From here, you can easily access Porthmadog, home to a Maritime Museum, the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway, the Black Rock Llamas, and Porthmadog Golf Club, as well as Borth y Gest, where you can hike along the Beach Path, spend a day at the beach, and dine at the popular Black Rock Beach Club with stunning sea views, onwards to the Llyn Peninsula and beyond, this is an ideal location for a Welsh holiday.

    The cottage it self was well equipped and we had a great stay

    If someone in shower downstairs can't use shower upstairs. The grill would not come on . Eventually worked out how to turn on oven. The facilities overall good. It been helpful however to have some dishwasher tablets as well as laundry . I prefer wooden chopping board too . I however did love kitchen bed comfortable And I enjoyed open fire . Beddglert is a beautiful location and I love the walks right in the heart of Snowdonia. Nice cafes and pubs too . Had a Fabulous
