Here, you can enjoy golden beaches, and a variety of shops and restaurants. For history lovers, Harlech is a must-visit, with its stunning castle, a unesco World Heritage Site. Golf enthusiasts will also appreciate the renowned Royal St. David’s Golf Club.
Further afield, Porthmadog is a charming harbour town. From here, you can hop on the Ffestiniog or Welsh Highland Railways for a scenic journey through some of the most beautiful landscapes in Wales. The area is a walker’s paradise, with numerous trails to explore. The Mawddach Trail, a gentle 9-mile route along a disused railway line, offers stunning estuary views. Alternatively, the Rhinog Mountains provide more challenging hikes. The cottage combines modern comforts with an unbeatable location, ensuring a memorable stay for all.

We had a three‑generation holiday so our parents could revisit the place they first stayed 60 years ago, with their last visit being 41 years ago. The cottage was lovely, with three good‑sized bedrooms that suited us perfectly. It was well equipped, although the only downside was having just a five‑seater sofa even though the cottage sleeps six. This meant that in the evenings one person had to sit either on the dining bench or an outdoor chair.Despite that, we had a wonderful holiday, and we would definitely stay here again. The hot tub was a great bonus and really added to our stay.

On arrival we found Erddyn cottage to be beautifully clean and set out...The parking was very close to the cottage which was great, and the hot tub was just amazing..Heather was always at hand for any questions we had, or to give advise...I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a break...We will return soon.....Thank you

It would be good if there were grab rails in shower cubicles ,especially the walk in one. Games and jigsaws are always good.,shower mats or grips for older people, towel rails in shower rooms, condiment set
