Size and immediate facilities are great until you look a little deeper. Missing smoke alarm in the hallway, carbon alarms replaced but old brackets left on walls, none of the blinds worked in any of the rooms (especially the bathroom on the 1st floor, directly adjacent to the train platform), light fittings loose in the kitchen, bathroom fittings don't work (shower/bath changers), loose bath rail, heating on perm even when we turned off the thermostat, had to turn off individual rad valves. Hot tub wasn't checked until we complained, had stagnant water inside and no cleaner added. Facilities include the on-site swimming pool, not entirely true. You have to book slots and during high season these can be hard to achieve. Also the pool is so hot its hard to enjoy, its hotter than the hot tub!!. The above text isn't meant to put people off this property, quite the opposite. Is Lyons Properties would invest a small amount of time and money into this property it would be superb.
