Just a 10-minute walk from the Rural Beach Award-winning beach, this charming retreat has six lovely bedrooms, two with en-suites, plus a corner spa bath, large showers, welcoming sitting room, two wood-burners, and a modern kitchen, all combining to make a superb Barmouth cottage with a successful mixture of traditional and contemporary furnishings.
There is shared seasonal use of a heated indoor swimming pool nearby, and the cottage has a large garden with patio. Providing a great base from which to enjoy this famous coastline and fabulous surrounding countryside, this impressive Barmouth cottage offers hill and coastal walks, wonderful beaches, watersports, golf, the medieval castle at Harlech and the beautiful Snowdonia mountains. The village of Tal-y-Bont sits just next to a Blue Flag beach on the lovely north Wales coastline. The village has shops, a restaurant and a pub, and makes a great base for a family beach holiday. The village is set between two extremely popular resorts, Barmouth and Harlech, making it ideal for enjoying the benefits of the area yet being based away from the main tourist crowds. Barmouth has an enormous beach and plenty of shops, pubs and eateries, while Harlech is famed for its beach, castle and golf course. A great base for all of North Wales.

Note: Within a 5 minute walk there is a restaurant/bistro which is available all year.
There is also an arcade, entertainment lounge, Ice cream parlour, fish & chip take away, convenience store which is available from April - October.

Fantastic bathrooms and en-suite showers. Lovely private garden with ample parking space. The hot tub was a great addition. Great transport links for touring. WiFi only reaches the room with the router, kitchen and dining room, so a WiFi extender would be useful. A welcome pack was listed but not provided. Not all rooms had hand soap or basic materials to help keep the property clean during the stay. There were no pegs for the washing line or a cafetière. The fridge/fridge freezer was in poor condition and may benefit from replacement. There was a good range of games and DVDs available to enjoy. We would happily stay here again and would recommend it to others. Just bring a cafetière, sharp knife, potato masher and kitchen scissors.

The train station next door was handy, although the house shook when some trains went by. The hot tub was appreciated by all and it was great to relax in. Not sure if the heating was being controlled correctly as the living room did get a little warm at times. Overall an amazing holiday.

This house was fantastic for our needs there was plenty of space across 3 floors and was very comfortable our grandchildren loved the hot tub and pool table all in all a very enjoyable stay would book again
