We all had a lovely time! It's very cosy and extremely well equipped, the owner (John I believe) has thought of everything! Plenty of logs for the fire (After seeing other reviews I took extra but didn't really need them) I love how you can quite literally go out of the back door and you're in the mountains! We didn't get chance to venture up the mountain due to having a small baby with us so I would love to go return one day. This is perfect for ramblers and hikers!

It's a Lovely little cosey cottage with lots to do in the area. Dispite the rain we made the most from our 5 day stay. The log burner was a nice touch although we spent a fortune keeping it going and could never get the heating to a warm temperature which meant no hot water to wash the pots. We had to use the fan heater and oil radiators provided. The only let down was the cleanliness. From the kitchen to the bathroom. It hadn't been cleaned from what we experienced and also found in the bin. Our double bed had a huge dirty footprint on the mattress sheet and we didn't really want to use the towels provided. Just needs a little TLC inside in areas.

Such a relaxing sound to go to sleep to. Cottage was lovely and clean. Very cozy. Loved the smell of the bed linen as I went to sleep. Well equipped kitchen, and lots of homely touches throughout the place. Lots of places to visit nearby. Harlech castle, Portmerion village, Bodnant garden (beautiful even on a very soggy day) and a trip on the steam train is a must. Went to Oakley arms hotel for dinner every evening. Delish food and great service. Definitely didn't go hungry there. A fabulous holiday, thanks very much.
