Curl up on the plush L-shape sofa which sits in front of a Smart TV, before the chef of the group rustles up a delicious home-cooked meal and gathers the family around the dining table for a sociable evening. It rests within the Snowdonia National Park and is superb for walking and other outdoor pursuits. Close by is Blaenau Ffestiniog, where you will find a wealth of shops, pubs and eateries. Also within close reach is the delightful Betws-y-Coed and the Italianate Village of Portmeirion.

As I am approaching 80 i found it a bit daunting getting in and out of the bath/shower.

It was a great place to gather as a family, which has now become an annual event for us. The accommodation was lovely and well planned, all the bedrooms were spacious, the 3 seating areas also worked well with a group. We had 3 small dogs so the hard floors worked very well with wet paws etc. Only one small niggle was no T towels, Iâm guessing this was an oversight the week we visited.

But we managed. In particular the guide folder was poorly paragraphed and not explicit in details on how to run the TVs. And there were a few kitchen items short - might have walked with the last occupants.
