Nearby, is the town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, well-known for its rich mining heritage, here you will find the heritage railway where you can hob aboard a vintage scene train to soak up the sights of Snowdonia National Park or immerse yourself in history at the Llechwedd Slate Caverns, where you can tour the mines and learn about the local area through workshops and history exhibits.
