Aberdyfi (3.5 miles) has galleries and shops to satisfy all appetites, while its shoreline offers miles of sand and dunes to explore. The historic Talyllyn Railway operates a narrow-gauge steam service into the Cambrian Mountains, the 7-mile journey passing through ancient meadows and woodlands within sight of Cadair Idris. Enjoy equally stunning scenery as you walk the Wales Coast Path; Fairbourne, the Mawddach Estuary and Barmouth start 12 miles away.
