  Cottage was lovely and clean.

  There was a lovely welcome pack for the dogs as well as us humans, which was a very nice touch although the milk was out of date by a month, the biscuits were delicious though. The directions given weren't very good and we did get a bit lost as they told us to turn by the lodge, it is actually Rhos Holiday Home Park. Inside the cottage like I said previously was very clean, although a stain on the bedroom carpet. The downside was there is no view but we did know this when booking (it is in such a pretty area it was a shame not to see it whilst having a coffee outside). The cottage could do with an armchair in the sitting room as my elderly mother found the sofa too low and it could only really sit 2 people comfortably. The toilet could also be a bit higher and with a seat that fitted and didn't move every time you sat down. Shower was great. The single bedroom could do with a lamp and a TV, children like to watch TV when they go to bed or read in bed. There were plenty of leaflets (most places too far away though as one was in Essex) and information pack also useful with plenty of takeaway and nearby shop. Lovely cottage to use as a base for a long weekend, as we found a week a bit too long.

  We are a couple in our sixties, my daughter and my 8 year old grandson was with us.

  Can honestly say we all, including my grandson, was taken aback at how beautiful this place was, right on the river with lots of wild land to roam in, beautifully kept gardens and never seen so many little birds such a joy to watch. Lots of kites the feather kind ! so sitting with morning cups of tea watching the wildlife and the brilliance of the place set us up for the day. We all loved it and just didn’t want to come home! It was perfect for our dog, all the areas are fenced and thought is taken with keeping our pets safe. The house was clean, well equipped and very comfy ! We went to the Dams over the mountain road, hold onto your seats but well worth it, Devils bridge also a must, the local town perfect, and the kite feeding. Whilst the Wi-Fi worked there were some moments it wasn’t too good, but this was everywhere in these mountains, We did have to drive into town to the car park, and park at the top of the car park as I had a very important phone call coming in, but even that wasn’t a big deal as we walked around the local shops and enjoyed our morning… All in all perfect break in the gardeners cottage and we hope to go back, definitely recommend.   What a wonderful cottage!

  We chose Park House primarily for its location, it's perfectly placed for visiting various relatives who live in the area. We could not have done better. The house is quiet, spacious, extremely well furnished and equipped. It has a welcoming, cosy atmosphere. Comfortable beds, brilliant showers, good appliances, loads of table and kitchen ware. It's dog-friendly but also very human-friendly! The house is also engagingly quirky, you don't know what is behind a door until you open it. We only found the downstairs bathroom some time after arrival, when we explored what simply looked like the door to a store cupboard... There's parking space for a fleet of cars outside. Even in late autumn the garden was a real sun trap, ideal for sitting with the relatives for tea and bara brith. Adrian the owner was discreet but very helpful when we needed him - he changed the heating timer for us (the controls are not in the cottage). We have high expectations now for Sykes bookings, but this one definitely exceeded our hopes. We are planning to return next year.

  The cottage is surprisingly large, quiet, extremely well furnished and equipped.

  You get a lovely and unexpected welcome pack so great to make an initial drink and with some traditional Welsh goodies was great ahead of getting some of our weeks provisions in (and some dog treats as well). As we have only a small car and 4 Dogs so space in the car is limited. It has a welcoming atmosphere and come the evening we lit the Log fire to make it really cosy. It has comfortable beds, a switchable shower between pole mounted and rainfall which was ensuite with the main bedroom where we stayed. It has all appliances you might need including a Dishwasher, there is lots of table and kitchen ware. It has many doors so its easily possible to keep the dogs where you need them to be. so is dog friendly. The cottage is quite quirky, in its layout. There is a downstairs Bathroom off the Kitchen. There's a generous parking area outside we had so much space having only the one little car. Adrian was really helpful and we will be back next year.

  Had a wonderful relaxing week in this lovely house.

  It’s very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Lots of thought gone in to the small details such as comprehensive range of leaflets, guides, books about places to visit locally, excellent information folder with practical details to help with your stay, picnic blankets, toys, games, puzzles. We especially valued the dog focussed touches like the detailed walks suitable for dogs, the basket with towels, bowls, toys even poo bags. The owners are clearly very dog friendly and have done a lot to ensure the needs of your four legged companions are catered for. The house is clean, well furnished and set in the most fabulous location with easy access to so many places of interest to visit. The red kite feeding station was a particular highlight for us. We were greeted with a lovely welcome pack which was very much appreciated and even included dog treats! Thank you for a lovely stay.
