  Das Haus war wirklich toll, die Schlafzimmer geräumig mit großen Kleiderschränken. Die Betten waren bequem und wirklich sehr sauber, selbst die Kissen waren bequem. Es waren auch viele Bügel in den Schränken. Das Badezimmer war auch sehr sauber und die Temperatur ließ sich gut regeln. Es ist eine Badewanne im Bad, in der man auch duscht. Für uns kein Problem, für ältere Leute eventuell ein Problem. Die Handtücher waren auch sehr sauber. Seife war vorhanden das Toilettenpapier reichte bis zum letzten Tag. Es gab auch ein Reinigungsmittel. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet, es gibt sogar einenGefrierschrank. Töpfe, Pfanne, Besteck, alles da was man benötigt. Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine auch da dazu auch Waschmittel und Spülmittel. Das Wohnzimmer war gemütlich mit mit viel Platz für alle. Im Wintergarten gab es einen Esstisch den wir aber nicht benutzten weil es doch etwas sehr kalt im Januar war. Wir konnten aber auch gut im Wohnzimmer essen. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt und würden es weiterempfehlen oder selbst noch mal wiederkommen. Verbesserungsvorschläge: 2 Decken im Wohnzimmer um sich einzukuscheln. Die Lage war sehr gut 30 Minuten zum Zentrum, Bushaltestelle und einkaufen 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Die Schotten waren alle sehr freundlich und höflich. ÖPNV super.

  Like a dream we didn't want to end

  Our stay at Blossom Mansion was a once in a lifetime opportunity. An honest to god historic home with many of its original details plus all the modern design necessary for a luxury stay. We hosted a family reunion weekend at Blossom Mansion and none of us wanted to leave when it was over. The property owner, who checked us in, was responsive and helpful to our questions. Every room was beautiful and carefully decorated. There were plenty of bathrooms for 24 guests and everyone slept comfortably in the beds made up with quality linens. The sauna/steam/jacuzzi area with complimentary robes and sandals, was beautifully situated in an outdoor space so you had a real spa feeling. Our family enjoyed pick up soccer on the back lawn and yoga lessons on the front lawn. The cozy AGA stove in the kitchen was a new experience for those of us not from Scotland and the extra dishwashers and all the cooking items you might need made for easy cooking and clean up. The property is large and very private with lovely old growth trees and some interesting ruins of former buildings. I cannot recommend this place more. If I ever have the chance to come back I will try to stay at Blossom Mansion again. Thank you!

  Spacious, homey, great bang for your buck. 4 adults had no issues with space. Make sure you bring toiletries. We had to buy extra paper towel and toilet paper. For a week we only got 1 towel each but if you’re desperate, there’s a washer to wash your towels. No dry so time your drying accordingly! When we arrive there was dish towels soaked and stinky left in the wash machine. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay! I would definitely recommend this to a family or couples. The bus route to the city centre is amazing. Just hop on 1 bus, and you get yourself a little tour the whole way there. The co-op nearby is great as well! We got to get a lot of goodies and could cook them up in the fully equipped kitchen!! :)

  After some very difficult news this year we decided to celebrate our wedding with all our nearest and dearest from across the world. We chose Edinburgh because of how beautiful the city is and never imagined we’d be lucky enough to find a house that matched the city’s beauty! Blossom Mansion was unbelievable and I can’t recommend it more. The rooms were spacious and landed themselves well to a larger group of people. We set it up to resemble a wedding reception and we can genuinely say we wouldn’t have wanted to have it anywhere else. Fully stocked and in beautiful grounds. Only 10 minutes from the city centre. What an amazing stay. Thank you so much!

  The house is very centrally located with a nearby shop. The house was very clean and cozy. Washing machine, dishwasher were available including everything you need for immediate use. We slept very well in the beds and felt very comfortable in the house. Lots of flyers for sights available. Free WiFi and parking right in front of the door. We were very happy to find such a beautiful house and would book it again at any time.
