With originals dating back to the late 15th century, Verteillac itself is full of character, home to a bakery, butcher, grocery store and a choice of cafés and restaurants. The weekly market takes place on a Saturday morning. Active guests can enjoy glorious walks in the surrounding countryside, discover cycling routes or play tennis at the village’s sports complex.

Just a short drive away, the bustling market town of Ribérac (11km) invites you to explore its celebrated Friday market, a vibrant hub of local produce, artisan goods and authentic French charm.

Leisure and natural beauty are never far from reach. Spend lazy days at Le Grand Étang de la Jemaye, around 30 minutes away by car, where a sandy beach, picnic spots, beach volleyball and a playground await alongside water-based activities in July/August (supervised swimming, canoeing and more).
